Our Love Story
It wasn’t a meet-cute from a movie, but a quiet, honest beginning. In 2021, amidst the uncertainty of a new place and a pandemic, a new face named Pratham arrived. An introvert who preferred his own company, he was navigating a difficult time. While not an academic star on paper, his brilliance was evident in his quick wit and genuine curiosity about the world around him. He was a strict follower of time.
Living in the same town was Sharvari, a girl with a sharp mind and an equally reserved nature. A natural academic, she was the school's topper, yet she never cared for the accolades. Her striking beauty was subtle, framed by a cascade of dark curly hair that seemed to have a life of its own. But it was her magnetic eyes that truly held a story—they sparkled with an unspoken brilliance that drew people in, even a cautious soul like Pratham. When she learned of his arrival, she took it upon herself to help him settle in, guiding him through their high school.
They went from being classmates to good friends, and then to the kind of best friends who could share anything, even the names of their crushes—never knowing they were looking for each other all along. Pratham went out of his way to help Sharvari, and in return, she never stopped boasting about him as her friend to others. Pratham, a once-stubborn soul, learned to speak up a little more, and Sharvari, once unintentionally blunt, learned to speak with more kindness. Their high school years were marked by late-night study sessions, shared jokes, and the unspoken comfort of knowing the other was always there.
Their journey continued into pre-university, where they both chose the science stream. This period, however, was filled with academic pressure and personal challenges, which tested their friendship. The long hours of preparing for the competitive JEE exams created distance, but even then, they never fully lost touch. They were always aware of what the other was going through, quietly checking in from a distance, a testament to the strong foundation they had built. Pratham always gave Sharvari the space and time she needed to heal from her personal problems, while she gave him what he needed most—the love and affection from a partner.
And then, a new chapter began. On a quiet evening, they decided to put their love and friendship first. They decided to get married, choosing to build a future together, side by side, as they both pursued their shared passion for computer science. They knew they had already changed for each other in the best way possible, meeting in the middle to build a beautiful life together.
